Lantos has developed a proven method to implement the Controls Pipeline process that has been utilised successfully within multiple government departments over the last two years.
The Controls Pipeline process is implemented using an Agile approach and we work collaboratively within your organisation and involve Cabinet Office (Central Digital and Data Office, CDDO) representatives. This follows a three phase Agile process, which is:
- Discovery phase to review and gain a clear and detailed understanding of the organisation portfolio and investment governance, processes, and DDaT spending portfolio to inform the most effective approach to use within the Alpha phase.
- Alpha phase involves the establishment of core Pipeline governance, developing a central portfolio assurance team and implementing a tactical assurance process to aid the organisation with adopting and applying new DDaT assurance practices to use the Controls Pipeline process.
- Beta phase, we build and mature the Pipeline process and capability within the organisation which includes establishing all the Pipeline governance forums; implementing Pipeline Assessments; and practicing knowledge transfer including training/coaching sessions for DDaT portfolio assurance team members and spending team leads.
This service is delivered by senior assurance specialists with a proven track record gained from implementing the DDaT Controls Pipeline process into departments such as BEIS, HMRC, Defra and FCDO.
