Chris is a highly experienced digital and technology professional with 30 years’ experience working in senior roles within Central Government, education, financial services, global & FTSE-250 corporate sectors. He is a Managing Consultant and heads up our Portfolio Assurance and Standards team. Chris provides a range of senior consultancy services for delivery management, technical, security and specialist portfolio assurance for our clients.
He has a proven senior delivery track-record leading large and complex national and global transition and transformation programmes involving digital delivery, infrastructure, video, telephony, unified communications, and managed security services.
Chris takes a collaborative approach when it comes to business and stakeholder engagement and has a strong commitment to deliver ‘fit for purpose’ solutions and successful transformation outcomes for clients.
He prides himself on his excellent stakeholder engagement and resource management and is experienced in developing and leading national and international teams, particularly working within regulated government environments and in the financial/insurance sector with clients like Money Advice Service and Bupa.
He has worked extensively with the Government Digital Service (GDS) in the Standards Assurance Service team as a Senior Technology Advisor to many major government departments and agencies including HMRC, Defra, Crown Commercial Services, Department for International Trade (DIT) and Department Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Chris has been a lecturer in Computing and Accounting and delivered ICT services into the educational sector for Kingston University and within regional colleges.
Chris is a qualified Prince2 Practitioner, a Practitioner Member of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) and is a long-standing member of the BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT). Also, he has a MSc Environmental Management (Climate Change) gained from University of Derby.
