Lantos is committed to supporting the environment through delivery of socially and environmentally responsible practices to provide robust sustainability solutions for our clients that achieve positive economic, social and environmental (ESG) outcomes.
Why use SEMA?
Lantos recognises that sustainability and environmental responsibilities are an increasingly critical factor to operating in the modern world, affecting how governments, organisations and individuals work and live in society. We are committed to evolving our services to align and reflect practices that genuinely contribute positive social and environmental outcomes related to government and global strategies, goals and targets like:
Its important to note that from November 2021, the Cabinet Office (Central Digital and Data Office) requires UK Government organisations (i.e. Departments, Agencies, Public Bodies and ALBs) to adopt and follow a new Technology Code of Practice (TCoP) Sustainability standard for all DDaT portfolio spending items (i.e. programmes, projects, services and contracts). This new Cabinet Office standard seeks to increase focus on ensuring sustainability is achieved for all DDaT spending that positively contributes to environmental targets for Greening Government ICT and Digital Services Strategy.
What is SEMA?
Lantos provides a tailored suite of sustainability and environmental advisory services to organisations so they can better understand and confidently manage their sustainability and environmental obligations (including carbon emissions) relating to spending items within their Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) and Commercial portfolios.
Our services employ a cross-portfolio engagement approach involving senior leadership, internal sustainability leads, technical subject matter experts, portfolio assurance function, Cabinet Office, key suppliers and (for UK government clients) we consult with HMG Sustainable Technology Advice & Reporting (STAR) Team where necessary.
The DaTaSEM sustainability and environmental advisory services help empower (government and private sector) organisations with best practice advice, support and recommendations on sustainability and environmental measures and matters. We aim to design and furnish organisations with practical and actionable measures and recommendations related to the full delivery lifecycle (design, development, implementation and maintenance/support) for digital and technology programmes, projects and services.
