Lantos provided senior project management and technical consulting services to MoJ within the Money Claim Online (MCOL) project.
MCOL is a secure civil litigation digital service to enable claimants a method to lodge and manage a county court claim for a fixed amount of money from the defendants. The aim of this service is to aid in reducing the level of disputes requiring court action/appearance and to streamline and increase the accessibility of the court system for members of the public.
We led the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition through to implementation that involved a complete rebuild of all infrastructure and application platforms and public-facing application, including MoJ internal delivery team and primary third-party system integrators and sub-contracted suppliers.
This involved extensive supplier and stakeholder engagement to discuss, design, negotiate and agree all commercial arrangements and including commercials, service measures and metrics (KPIs) underpinning the initial 3yr term.
We successfully delivered this service that has uplifted the adoption of online civil claims and improved court efficiency and delivery of justice for more than 10 years.
