British Council

Lantos provided consultancy to British Council for the Connectivity Renewal Programme. This was based on a major government technology framework initiative (ECHO) used by the partners FDCO (was FCO), British Council and Department for International Development (DFID, now FCDO).

We provided senior delivery management leading a global managed service provider transition covering 220 locations in more than 100 countries.

Scope of programme workstreams included WAN/LAN infrastructure, VOIP telephony, Audio/Web and Managed Video Conferencing and a replacement Remote Access Service as a value-added service with the key delivery partners – Cable and Wireless Worldwide, Mitel and NCR.

We conducted an extensive review and assurance of existing business case, financials, commercials and technology solutions. This was required to ensure the required infrastructure requirements and solutions from the Managed Service Partner to promote strategy commitments and improved flexible working worldwide.
